Batched Matcha Recipe - 10 Servings

Batched Matcha Recipe - 10 Servings

$0.00

What you need:

  • 29g of Matcha

  • Total of 290g of water

  • Stainless steel bowl

  • Sifter

  • Scale

How to:

  1. Place stainless steel bowl on scale with sifter and tare scale.

  2. Using a spoon place 29g of matcha powder into the sifter, over the stainless steel bowl. Use the back of the spoon to push and move the powder through the sifter into the bowl.

This step ensures that there is limited clumping.

  3. With the matcha fully sifted, remove sifter and measure out 150g of cold water directly into the bowl with the matcha. To create a paste, use your chasen to whisk your mixture in a zig-zag pattern and circular motion around the bowl to evenly mix the matcha, sweeping the chasen along the walls of the bowl to ensure all matcha is incorporated when whisking.

  4. Add an additional 140g of water, whisk again.

That’s it! Pour your matcha into squeeze bottles and store in the fridge.

Cost per serving:

This recipe creates a batch for 10 drinks — to determine your cost per serving, divide 1000 by the price per kilo to determine your $ amount per gram.

Multiple that by 29 and then divide that final number by 10 to determine you cost per serving.
