Daily Matcha, Wazuka, Japan

This matcha is made up of stone ground first flush green tea leaves from Nakai tea fields of Uji, Japan. First flush leaves are the first buds to appear at the beginning of the picking season after a long and cold winter. Packed with amino acids called L-theanine and other nutrients; which produce a wonderfully sweet and complex flavors of umami.

Norm x True Tea Premium Matcha, Tokyo, Japan

Carefully stone-milled from leaves grown on a historic farm in Kagoshima, this matcha represents a rare treat that we are incredibly grateful to bring to the states.

Through this mutual appreciation of practices and bond, we’ve been entrusted with 15kgs of Norm Tea House’s personal matcha inventory: the very same tea served to guests in their Kyoto cafe.

Barista Matcha, Wazuka, Japan

This matcha comes from an Organic Tea Garden and family owned tea farm that has history of 350 years of cultivating tea in Wazuka, Kyoto, Japan. It is harvested very carefully from the finest selected Kabuse grown tea field and blend of multiple cultivars and ground slowly to ensure a very organically sweet fine powder and creamy texture.

Ceremonial Matcha

This Ceremonial Matcha is a single-origin, first-flush Gokou cultivar. The rich flavor comes out when Gokou is shaded for more than 20 days. This matcha is sweet with hint of fruity flavor coming through in the end. 

This is a lovely single cultivar matcha and we recommend preparing in a more traditional matcha way with just water.

Organic Hojicha, Uji, Japan

Hojicha is a stone milled roasted green tea powder from Shiga Prefecture, Japan. Hojicha is great for several reasons. It is roasted at a high temperature, which is why it’s a golden, reddish color and because it is roasted, it is also very low in caffeine and catechins, so it makes a great evening drink or dessert.

A single-origin, first flush and organic matcha sourced directly from family-owned and operated tea farm located in the famous Uji, Kyoto. This matcha is 100% Yabukita cultivar, the most popular cultivar in Japan and ideal for a high-grade matcha latte.

Blue is made by blending Tencha green tea. This Matcha is a great option for milk based drinks. Produced by four young tea farmers from established tea-growing families in Sonogi using a Japanese conventional farming method, plucking is mechanical.

Royal is made by the same producer as our Blue. This Matcha is a great option for milk based drinks as well - it is a first flush harvest. Produced by four young tea farmers from established tea-growing families in Sonogi using a Japanese conventional farming method, plucking is mechanical.
